Country & territory guide

Compare schools across Equatorial Guinea.

Equatorial Guinea’s selected Spanish-school collection contains Colegio Español de Bata and Colegio Español Don Bosco de Malabo. Spain’s education ministry identifies both as Salesian private Spanish schools overseas. Compare the actual city and receiving phase, then distinguish their dated authorisation details from the classes and Bachillerato subjects available for the intended intake.

2 included profiles · 2 destination collections · 0 dated tuition schedules

This is a selected directory, with different levels of evidence in each collection. Open the named campus profile to check its curriculum phases, review date and sources before contacting admissions.

Planning a school search in Equatorial Guinea

Detailed phase and modality evidence comes from the June 2013 orders. The ministry directory retrieved for this review has no visible update date. Current classes, subjects, places and financial terms require school confirmation.

Choose the named Bata or Malabo school before comparing phases

The ministry directory lists Colegio Español de Bata on Calle Udubuandjolo and Don Bosco de Malabo on Calle José Si Esono. Use the school’s full name and city when asking for a visit or sending records. A country collection does not establish a shared campus, one admissions office or a practical daily journey between the two schools.

The June 2013 authorisation orders identify separate centres and Salesian ownership. Bata’s order covers Primaria, Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO) and Bachillerato; Malabo’s also includes second-cycle Infantil. For younger siblings, that distinction matters: Bata’s cited order does not establish an early-years offer. Ask each office which receiving class is actually running, its current entrance and the arrangements for collection.

Separate the Spanish award from the actual senior subject offer

The ministry describes pupils completing these schools’ studies as obtaining the Spanish Bachiller title. That identifies the education pathway; it does not settle an individual pupil’s graduation, transfer credit or university admission. A family moving from a different system should request a subject-by-subject assessment and the exact award towards which the receiving school will enrol the child.

The 2013 orders distinguish senior modalities: Bata lists Ciencias y Tecnología, while Malabo lists that modality and Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales. Both orders also describe a Bachillerato connection with CIDEAD. Treat these as dated authorisation details. Confirm the present modalities, teaching arrangements, examination responsibility and subject combinations directly, especially for a pupil joining partway through senior study. Do not choose a university prerequisite from an old authorised list alone.

Request the receiving-class decision and a dated financial schedule

The ministry directory supplies school contacts rather than a current admissions checklist or comparable annual fee schedule. Ask the chosen school for its intended-year application dates, required reports and examination results, language assessment, any translation or certification requirements, and the person who decides placement. These are questions to resolve with that school, not established national entry conditions.

For a primary-to-ESO move, identify the completed course and curriculum as well as the child’s age. For a Bachillerato transfer, include subjects and assessments already completed and ask what remains before the award. Request an itemised quotation separating tuition, registration, learning materials, examinations, transport and any other compulsory charges, with its academic year and payment terms. The published authorisation does not establish today’s price or an offered place.

Curriculum pathways recorded across the collection

Each row combines evidence from several profiles. Its phases may be offered at different schools; it does not mean every school provides every phase. Online delivery is listed separately. Open the school profile for its exact route and eligibility.

Parent questions about Equatorial Guinea schools

Do both selected Spanish schools have the same documented younger phases?

The June 2013 orders differ: Don Bosco de Malabo includes second-cycle Infantil alongside Primaria, ESO and Bachillerato; Bata’s cited order begins with Primaria. Ask for the current receiving-class offer rather than assume an early-years place at both.

Does a listed Bachillerato modality confirm every current subject combination?

No. The modalities in these sources are dated authorisation details. Ask the selected school which subjects and examination arrangements apply to the pupil’s intake and whether transferred work fits its current Spanish-award plan.
