Country & territory guide
Compare schools across Greece.
The selected Greece collection distinguishes Pallini, Koropi, the Athens-area St Catherine’s campuses and Thessaloniki. British-style study may end in A levels or IB, while Pinewood separately describes American diploma and joint Anatolia–Pinewood IB choices. Match the child’s current phase, language and senior subjects to the named site before comparing offers.

Planning a school search in Greece
Compare the Athens-area primary-to-senior sequences
Campion publishes British English and mathematics with IPC across other junior subjects in Years 1–6. Adapted British Years 7–9 lead into IGCSE in Years 10–11, followed by the Diploma in Years 12–13. Its contact page places the school in Pallini. Ask how the receiving class handles completed primary topics or secondary syllabuses and what preparation is expected at the IGCSE-to-Diploma transition. The primary IPC framework should not be relabelled as IB PYP.
St Catherine’s also distinguishes English National Curriculum English and mathematics from IPC thematic primary learning. Its learning philosophy describes progression through IGCSE to the Diploma. Keep curriculum comparison separate from the campus enquiry: the school publishes a lower-school address in Lykovrissi and an upper-school address in Kifissia. For siblings, confirm each teaching site and collection routine before assuming one Athens school name means one shared daily journey.

Compare A levels with American and joint IB alternatives
St Lawrence’s school-owned Greek overview identifies its Koropi location and British phase structure, with IGCSE at the end of Year 11 and A levels at the end of Year 13. Compare that subject-focused senior route with the Diploma at Campion or St Catherine’s. The school’s own table is a description of its programme, not a general ruling on an individual child’s equivalence, university admission or transfer from the Greek national system.
In Thessaloniki, Pinewood’s current high-school page describes an American High School Diploma with AP and Global Online Academy opportunities. Its separate IB page identifies the joint Anatolia–Pinewood Diploma as an alternative in Grades 11–12. Ask which programme is offering the place, which organisation handles the application, and which courses are onsite or online. Senior IB provision does not establish PYP or MYP authorisation for Pinewood’s younger phases, and additional AP courses are distinct from the school diploma.

Check intended-year admissions and the practical teaching site
The joint Anatolia–Pinewood IB page gives a 2026–27 ordinary application period ending on 24 April 2026. It says later applications are considered according to programme and individual-subject space, and describes interviews with possible English or mathematics diagnostic tests. By this guide’s October review, the ordinary deadline has passed. Request the current late-entry position or the next intake’s calendar; the dated notice does not establish that every subject has space today.
For an Athens-area enquiry, send reports and subject choices to the specific admissions team, and identify Pallini, Koropi, Lykovrissi or Kifissia in the visit plan. Check whether the child’s offered division remains on that site through the intended enrolment. Ask for current transport and after-school arrangements and a written quotation separating tuition, examinations, language support and transport. For every senior route, obtain the intended next institution’s subject requirements before accepting a timetable or assuming automatic credit.

Each row combines evidence from several profiles. Its phases may be offered at different schools; it does not mean every school provides every phase. Online delivery is listed separately. Open the school profile for its exact route and eligibility.

Parent questions about Greece schools
Do the selected British schools in Greece all offer A levels?
No. St Lawrence publishes A levels at the end of Year 13, while Campion and St Catherine’s describe progression to the IB Diploma. Compare the actual senior subjects, award and offered joining phase. British-style primary or secondary study does not settle the final qualification.

Is the published 2026–27 joint Anatolia–Pinewood IB window still open?
The page’s ordinary deadline was 24 April 2026. It describes later consideration subject to programme and individual-subject space, so contact the team for the intended joining date or next intake. A dated application notice is not a current guarantee of a place or the desired subject combination.
