Compare schools across Nigeria.
Nigeria's selected collection compares French schooling in Lagos and Abuja: Lycée français Louis-Pasteur and Lycée français Marcel-Pagnol d'Abuja. Both have named French grade records, but campus, language readiness and application completion remain school-specific decisions. Narrow the enquiry to the actual city, receiving French class and intended school year rather than assume one national admissions procedure.

Planning a school search in Nigeria
Admissions bodies are undated. Lagos's fee page labels 2026/2027 general and company downloads, but the linked schedules were not read; confirm the applicable contract and intended intake.
Choose the city and distinguish teaching from homologation
AEFE lists Louis-Pasteur at 16 Younis Bashorun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, and Marcel-Pagnol after Prince and Princess Estate in Abuja's Kaura district. Use the named school and physical address for visits and attendance planning. A shared French-school network does not establish a daily travel arrangement, residential place or the right receiving division for a family moving between these cities.
Both records mark the French grades from Petite section through Terminale as homologated. They also list Toute petite section separately as not homologated and not CNED. That distinction matters for a youngest-child enquiry: a listed teaching level is not automatically part of the homologated route. Ask the chosen school to confirm the actual offered class, readiness conditions and relationship to later French primary study.

Map the previous class and discuss French-language preparation
Lagos's registration page places pupils from the French system in the class recommended by their previous school, supported by reports and progression advice. For foreign applicants or another education system, it describes a preliminary family discussion and possible knowledge assessment, normally followed by age-class placement unless an exception applies. Bring completed reports and describe the previous language of instruction rather than translate a class name in isolation.
Abuja's policy likewise distinguishes French-system progression from other-system interviews. It says there are no language conditions up to age four, while older pupils may undergo a French-language level test. Its lycée page describes preparation towards the baccalauréat and later study. For a senior transfer, request the actual subject package and assessment requirements for the intended cohort; a programme description does not establish personal readiness or award completion.

Separate a portal application from confirmed enrolment and cost
Both schools direct registration through Eduka, but their published processes still require school review. Lagos says the complete file must be validated and applicable enrolment or initial tuition payments made before final registration. Abuja similarly requires a validated file and registration payment. Ask each office which prior-school, identity, health and other documents apply to the family; a school document list should not be treated as a general Nigerian visa rule.
Lagos's fee page labels its schedules 2026/2027 and separates general-school and company-fee downloads. The linked PDF contents were not inspected here. Request the applicable schedule, payment currency, compulsory extras and signed financial terms instead of assume the two categories yield one universal total. Abuja's policy links fees separately; ask its office for the intended-year quotation and available receiving class before organising attendance.

Curriculum pathways recorded across the collection
Each row combines evidence from several profiles. Its phases may be offered at different schools; it does not mean every school provides every phase. Online delivery is listed separately. Open the school profile for its exact route and eligibility.

Parent questions about Nigeria schools
Does the youngest listed class have the same homologation as Petite section?
No. Both AEFE records list Toute petite section as non-homologated and non-CNED, while Petite section through Terminale are marked homologated. Confirm the child's actual class and entry conditions directly; the record's distinction does not establish an available place or a personal birthday cutoff.

Is French already required for every Abuja applicant?
Its policy says no linguistic conditions apply up to age four and that older pupils may undergo French testing. Ask admissions how the child's previous schooling and language level fit the intended class. Those published Abuja conditions do not establish Lagos's policy or a country-wide English-to-French entry rule.
