Country & territory guide

Compare schools across Poland.

Compare the selected Poland school collections by actual campus and phase-specific pathway. Warsaw and nearby Konstancin-Jeziorna provide different starting sequences, while Wrocław and Kraków add alternative senior routes. An American or British school name does not establish the same final qualification at every institution, and programme recognition should be checked separately from the school’s legal identity.

This is a selected directory, with different levels of evidence in each collection. Open the named campus profile to check its curriculum phases, review date and sources before contacting admissions.

Planning a school search in Poland

The government’s RSPO explanation is dated December 2023 and links an older address. The current official RSPO search service was reviewed through indexed evidence; no individual record was retrieved or registration outcome asserted. School course descriptions were directly read on 15 October 2026.

Keep Warsaw and Konstancin-Jeziorna distinct

American School of Warsaw publishes its campus address in Bielawa, Konstancin-Jeziorna. Its academic page describes English as the main teaching language and maps the IB PYP from Pre-K to Grade 5, MYP in Grades 6–10 and an optional Diploma programme in Grades 11–12. The American name therefore should not be read as a single American examination sequence. Use the Konstancin-Jeziorna collection and actual address when planning a school visit or comparing the family’s daily journeys.

The British School Warsaw’s secondary page locates its main campus in Sadyba, Warsaw. It describes English National Curriculum preparation followed by IGCSE examinations and both IB Diploma and A-level choices in Years 12–13. Compare this sequence with ASW’s MYP years. For younger siblings, establish their campus separately; the secondary address does not locate every division.

Compare Wrocław and Kraków senior alternatives

British International School of Wrocław’s secondary page offers International A levels or a USA High School Diploma programme for its senior stage. Ask for the qualification issuer, current subject timetable and assessment arrangements for the chosen route, especially when an offer involves coursework or an external provider. The page’s broad university-recognition language should not replace confirmation from the receiving course. Compare the actual award with Warsaw’s IB or A-level options rather than choosing by the British label alone.

International School of Krakow describes its Grades 6–10 curriculum through international standards rather than a named MYP sequence. In Grades 11–12 it publishes an IB Diploma route, its American High School Diploma option and the possibility of selected IB courses. A family looking for continuous MYP study should therefore compare Kraków’s actual coursework with ASW’s explicit MYP provision. For a senior transfer, distinguish the full Diploma from individual courses and obtain a clear written graduation plan.

Check the school unit and the course separately

Poland’s official RSPO guidance describes searches by institution number, locality and operating body, with advanced filters for school type, legal status and educational stage. That makes the actual educational unit a useful verification target, particularly when a brand covers several phases. The government explanation is dated December 2023 and points to an older service address; use the current RSPO search service for a current institution check. No individual registration outcome is inferred in this guide.

Keep that institutional check separate from programme confirmation. Ask which unit and campus appear on enrolment documents, which course the child follows and who issues the award. Warsaw’s A-level page lists a specific subject offer, so confirm the required combination rather than assume a complete subject menu. For a later return to Polish study, have the receiving school review reports and language preparation before accepting placement.

Curriculum pathways recorded across the collection

Each row combines evidence from several profiles. Its phases may be offered at different schools; it does not mean every school provides every phase. Online delivery is listed separately. Open the school profile for its exact route and eligibility.

Parent questions about Poland schools

Do all selected IB-related schools in Poland teach the MYP?

ASW explicitly publishes MYP in Grades 6–10. Kraków instead describes an internationally based Grades 6–10 curriculum before its senior Diploma choices. Confirm each phase individually; a senior IB Diploma offer does not establish a middle-years IB programme.

Can an A-level applicant assume any subject combination is available?

No. The British School Warsaw publishes a specific current A-level subject offer, and Wrocław describes its own senior alternatives. Request the actual timetable, entry requirements and awarding arrangements, then check the chosen subjects against the intended next course. A programme name alone is insufficient.
