Country & territory guide

Compare schools across Puerto Rico.

Compare the selected Guaynabo, Dorado and San Juan schools by IB phase, AP subjects, languages and actual teaching address. Baldwin's grade map, Robinson's separately named IB programmes and the AP descriptions at Dorado Academy and Saint John's answer different educational questions. A mailing address or toddler programme should not silently expand a campus or authorised phase.

4 included profiles · 3 destination collections · 0 dated tuition schedules

This is a selected directory, with different levels of evidence in each collection. Open the named campus profile to check its curriculum phases, review date and sources before contacting admissions.

Planning a school search in Puerto Rico

Dorado's published high-school menu is undated; confirm the current taught subjects and examination options for the intended intake.

Compare the actual IB phases and language plan

Baldwin's primary page names PYP from PPK through Grade 5. Its middle/upper page places MYP in Grades 6–10 and Diploma in Grades 11–12. That sequence helps a family identify the next receiving phase rather than treat one IB label as a complete placement decision. Ask how the child's reports, languages and completed coursework fit the particular class and senior subject plan.

Robinson's school description separately names PYP, MYP and Diploma, with English as its main teaching language and Spanish studied across grades. Its wider toddler-to-Grade-12 description does not itself classify toddler care as an authorised PYP phase. Compare the actual younger division and language support with Baldwin's grade map, and request the entry requirements for the offered senior programme rather than infer them from an international school name.

Compare AP classes with full senior IB study

Dorado Academy's high-school page lists electives and AP courses alongside English and Spanish or SSL. Saint John's current secondary page describes Grades 7–12 with core subjects, Honors and AP options. These are subject and school-course comparisons, not evidence that either follows a full IB Diploma. Ask which AP subjects are taught for the intended year and how they contribute to the school-graduation plan.

Baldwin's senior table separately names its Diploma subjects and Pamoja courses. Request which classes are taught on campus and which involve an online provider, and whether the pupil can continue the same language and subject levels after a transfer. Dorado's undated published menu also needs a current timetable check. An AP examination, an IB subject and a full Diploma have different requirements; advertised recognition does not decide an individual university-credit award.

Use physical campus contacts and the joining year

Baldwin's contact page gives the physical Los Filtros address in Guaynabo, while its academic footer has a Bayamón postal box. Use the physical contact for a visit; the mailing label should not create a second teaching-campus comparison. Dorado Academy publishes its Dorado del Mar address, and Saint John's identifies Condado in San Juan. These are distinct collection starting points, with actual divisions still needing confirmation.

Compare siblings' phases, language preparation and senior transitions alongside the proposed attendance plan. Send reports and course outlines so the school can review outstanding credits and examined work. Request a current academic-year quotation separating tuition, examinations, transport, additional support and any externally delivered subjects. Before choosing a senior offer, have the next institution check the precise award and subjects it requires rather than rely on a blanket IB or AP recognition claim.

Curriculum pathways recorded across the collection

Each row combines evidence from several profiles. Its phases may be offered at different schools; it does not mean every school provides every phase. Online delivery is listed separately. Open the school profile for its exact route and eligibility.

Parent questions about Puerto Rico schools

Does Baldwin's Bayamón mailing address identify the teaching site?

Its physical contact page gives Guaynabo, Los Filtros; the academic footer uses a Bayamón postal box. Use the physical address and offered division when arranging a visit. A mailing contact does not establish a second campus.

Are AP subjects at Dorado and Saint John's a full IB Diploma?

Their pages describe AP course options; Baldwin separately describes Diploma in Grades 11–12. Compare the actual taught subjects, examinations and school-graduation requirements. Ask about the current timetable and individual university requirements without assuming automatic credit.
