Country & territory guide
Compare schools across El Salvador.
Compare the selected Santa Tecla and San Salvador schools through the primary-to-secondary transition, senior assessment and actual course delivery. ABC's IPC, MYP and Diploma progression differs from Escuela Americana's AP choices. An online-course partnership or school division label should not replace the child's confirmed subject and graduation plan.

This is a selected directory, with different levels of evidence in each collection. Open the named campus profile to check its curriculum phases, review date and sources before contacting admissions.
Planning a school search in El Salvador
ABC's exact authoriser contact was available in the official index after direct retrieval failed. EA's phase-page title remains 2024–2025, and its virtual-course descriptions give different grade ranges; confirm joining-year details.
Match the middle-school transition to the receiving class
Academia Británica Cuscatleca (ABC) describes International Primary Curriculum before MYP in Grades 6–10 and Diploma in Grades 11–12. Its primary page explains IPC thematic learning; it should not be relabelled IB PYP. For a child approaching Grade 6, compare prior learning and assessment with the actual MYP class, rather than assume an IB senior option establishes the same primary curriculum.
Escuela Americana (EA) instead lists Middle School Grades 6–8 and High School Grades 9–12 on its secondary page, whose title still says 2024–2025. Its current academic body describes AP choices and personalised course planning. Confirm the intended year's actual division and course offer, particularly at Grade 9, where ABC's MYP continues but EA's published high-school label begins. School organisation and the international programme boundary are different pieces of the transfer plan.

Distinguish examined subjects, virtual delivery and the full award
At ABC, compare the full senior Diploma plan with EA's individual AP courses and ordinary graduation requirements. Send completed subjects and assessed work so each school can identify what continues and what remains. An advanced examination course is not the same as completing an entire IB programme, and a broad university-preparation description does not determine the requirements of the child's intended next institution.
EA's academic introduction mentions OneSchoolHouse access in Grades 10–12, while the specific platform subsection describes Grades 11–12 with an academic threshold. Confirm the actual eligible year, course, teacher support and timetable rather than promise a Grade 10 pupil virtual access. Its AP grade-bonus rule also depends on both passing the class and a qualifying examination result. Ask how the proposed study is recorded on the school transcript; participation alone should not be treated as that bonus or as university credit.

Use the actual site and a joining-year enquiry
ABC's named authoriser record places it at kilometre 10.5 on the Santa Tecla road. That exact record was read through the official index after direct access failed. EA gives Final Calle 3 in Colonia La Mascota, San Salvador. Visit the offered division and discuss arrival, collection and sibling attendance with the actual team. These selected collections should not become a promised journey time or an assumption that every programme shares one local address.
ABC describes an August–June calendar, applications at any time, supporting-document submission and campus or video conversations. EA offers in-person or virtual admissions visits and a named contact for questions. Use those channels to request a written phase, subject and support plan before committing to a mid-year move. Obtain current academic-year financial terms separating tuition, examinations, support, transport and virtual courses. Have the next school or institution assess the precise graduation credential and unfinished coursework individually; an enquiry or international-school accreditation is not an accepted place.

Curriculum pathways recorded across the collection
Each row combines evidence from several profiles. Its phases may be offered at different schools; it does not mean every school provides every phase. Online delivery is listed separately. Open the school profile for its exact route and eligibility.

Parent questions about El Salvador schools
Does ABC's IPC primary programme mean authorised IB PYP?
ABC describes IPC before its MYP and Diploma sequence. IPC and PYP are separate frameworks, so ask about the actual younger-school class and assessment rather than expand senior IB provision backwards. Its school-owned pages give the relevant progression directly.

Can every Grade 10 EA pupil access OneSchoolHouse?
The page's introduction mentions Grades 10–12, but its specific subsection describes Grades 11–12 and an academic threshold. Confirm the actual receiving grade and offered course with EA. The broader partnership wording does not resolve that eligibility difference or guarantee online delivery for an individual pupil.
