Country & territory guide
Compare schools across Tunisia.
Compare the selected Tunisia school destinations by the child's actual French grade and teaching campus. Nabeul, Ariana, Bizerte and Sfax illustrate different approved phase coverage. An institution's French or international name does not establish a complete nursery-to-lycée route, and a group website can describe programmes delivered at a separate site.

Planning a school search in Tunisia
Sfax's AEFE summary displays an inconsistent total of approved levels; the individual grade rows are used here. Its group website's senior dual-curriculum statement is kept separate from the selected primary campus.
Match the approved grade to the destination
AEFE's Marguerite-Duras record in Nabeul approves CP through CM2. Its nursery rows are separately marked non-homologated. Jean-Racine's Ariana record instead approves Sixième through Terminale, with nursery rows also marked non-homologated. These are different starting points for a child entering primary or secondary study. Check the actual year in the individual table rather than treating either institution's overall name as approval for every advertised class.
Gustave-Eiffel in Bizerte provides another useful distinction: its approved table begins at CM1 and continues through Terminale. That is not evidence of approved provision for CP, CE1 or CE2. Ask how the intended entry grade, previous reports and teaching-language preparation fit the offered class. For siblings, a route suitable for an older child should not automatically determine the younger child's school choice.

Keep Sfax's primary and secondary addresses separate
The selected Sfax profile covers the primary site on Route de Gremda. Its AEFE table lists approved nursery and primary grades through CM2. The school's own presentation gives a different collège/lycée address on Route de Tunis in Sakiet Ezzit. A school-wide description of secondary progression should therefore prompt a separate campus enquiry rather than extend the selected primary address into an assumed lycée location.
Sfax's presentation also advertises a French–American dual senior curriculum. That statement belongs to the school's wider programme description; it is not a qualification delivered in a primary classroom. Ask the receiving secondary team about the programme provider, exact credential, assessment arrangements and requirements. Keep any additional diploma separate from the approved French primary phase and request evidence for the particular senior offer.

Turn French recognition into a practical joining plan
The French Ministry explains homologation as conformity with French programmes and educational organisation, checked across teaching cycles and levels. Use that framework alongside the individual AEFE table. It does not establish every additional language option, ownership category or applicant's acceptance. A family moving between these selected towns should send the receiving school reports and ask how completed learning maps to the proposed French grade.
Compare the actual teaching site, school calendar and language-support plan before arranging housing or visits. For primary completion in Nabeul or Sfax, ask which secondary institution and campus would be the next application; geographic proximity or network membership does not reserve a place. Obtain a current quotation for the joining year, separating tuition, transport, examinations and extra support. Check the academic year and review date shown on a profile before using older financial information.

Curriculum pathways recorded across the collection
Each row combines evidence from several profiles. Its phases may be offered at different schools; it does not mean every school provides every phase. Online delivery is listed separately. Open the school profile for its exact route and eligibility.

Parent questions about Tunisia schools
Does French homologation approve every advertised school year?
No. Marguerite-Duras's table approves CP–CM2, while Jean-Racine's approves Sixième–Terminale and Gustave-Eiffel's begins at CM1. Check the exact class and any separately marked nursery or additional provision. Recognition of one phase should not be expanded into every grade on a group website.

Is Sfax's primary profile also the secondary campus?
The school lists Route de Gremda for primary and Route de Tunis in Sakiet Ezzit for collège/lycée. Use the actual offered division when asking about visits and daily travel. The school's wider senior-diploma description does not turn the selected primary site into a senior programme.
