They are a selected set of schedules, not a market average or equivalent fees for children of the same age. Combined totals are Calculated from regular tuition plus the separate mandatory annual components; the source does not publish those combined totals.

Published costs and conditions
Full-year tuition in JPY, including consumption tax. Annual non-refundable capital assessment 250,000 is extra. One-time non-refundable application 50,000, registration 300,000 and building maintenance 1,525,000 are excluded. Re-enrolment 300,000 is a non-refundable deposit credited to tuition; confirm the PDF's stale 1 March 2025 deadline. Subsequent-year totals are indicative. Bus 390,000/year on serviced Chofu routes, meals and most trips cost extra; the Grade 5 trip, Middle School Extended Campus Program and certain High School Exploration Program trips are exceptions. Grades 4–5 need an iPad; Grades 6–12 a MacBook. Fees except application are due on invoice; tuition by bank transfer. Personal-paying families may request instalments with 10,000/student carrying charge. Late entrants pay whole academic quarters. Tuition/bus refunds require written notice by first August class day or first second-semester day for unused full quarters. Corporate arrangements are separate; new applicants have no financial aid. Confirm itemised costs and contract terms.

BST's 2026/27 fees are in JPY. Published full-year regular tuition is 2,960,000 for Primary (including Nursery/Reception), 2,980,000 for Years 7-9 and 3,070,000 for Years 10-13. A separate annual Capital Development Tuition Fee of 100,000 applies school-wide; no combined total is quoted. One-time, non-refundable new-student fees are application 40,000, enrolment 500,000 and educational resources 680,000. Required books and curriculum trips/events are included. Lunch, non-curriculum trips, SEN support, some exams/sports, instrumental lessons and optional activities cost extra; bus seats are paid a term ahead. New-student fees are due within 2 weeks of invoice; existing tuition within 4. Withdrawal needs a complete term's written notice or a term's fees. The stated refund exception requires that notice and a wholly unattended term; other cases are discretionary. No sibling discount; bursaries and employer CCP terms are conditional. Mid-term entrants pay a full or half term by start date. Fees may change; confirm an itemised quote, uniforms and payment/refund terms.
