Buenos Aires families comparing these selected Belgrano schools should start with the local secondary year and the actual receiving campus. Belgrano Day School launched Diploma study in 2026, while St Catherine’s Moorlands Belgrano combines Argentine secondary study with MYP and Diploma. The shared IB label therefore needs a more precise transfer discussion.
This guide accompanies 2 included profiles. It is a selected collection; confirm places and current charges with each school.
BDS's 2026 announcement was read through school-owned indexed text after direct 403 failures. St Catherine’s subject menu is undated; confirm the intended cohort's courses and entry conditions.
BDS's IB record gives Juramento 3035 in Buenos Aires city. St Catherine’s Moorlands publishes Carbajal 3250 for its Belgrano site. Specify Belgrano when contacting the latter; another campus's timetable or classes should not determine this enquiry. Request the student's entrance, division and afternoon collection arrangements at the named address, particularly when comparing siblings whose classroom labels or finish times differ.
St Catherine’s Belgrano secondary page describes a bilingual curriculum integrating national study with IB programmes. Its international-programmes page places the Diploma alongside official secondary Years 4–5. Send the completed Argentine or overseas school year, subjects and language history before requesting a receiving class. A translated grade number alone cannot determine where a pupil belongs within that local secondary sequence.

BDS's school-owned 2026 announcement says pupils in the final two Middle & Senior years begin the Diploma Programme that year. Its IB record gives authorisation on 10 November 2025. The announcement was read through official school indexed text after direct access failed. For a senior transfer, ask which cohort, subjects and assessment work can accommodate the child within this recently introduced route.
St Catherine’s publishes MYP for ages 11–16 and a two-year Diploma integrated with secondary Years 4–5. The age description does not settle every local MYP grade boundary or personal birthday cutoff. Ask its Belgrano coordinator how completed middle-years work leads into the senior sequence, and whether the pupil's proposed entry involves starting the Diploma or continuing an existing course.

St Catherine’s published Diploma menu includes Spanish A Literature, English A Language and Literature, English B and French B, alongside its core components. Treat that undated menu as a starting point for questions about intended-year availability and Higher or Standard Level combinations. A bilingual secondary description does not identify the best-fit language course for a newcomer with limited Spanish or different previous literature study.
BDS's 2026 announcement separately discusses younger divisions, including its newly introduced one-year-old Kinder class. That broader school context does not establish a younger IB phase or a complete birthday-placement policy. Obtain the actual class and admission process for each sibling. For senior pupils at either school, request an itemised intended-year quotation and written confirmation of examination registration, transferred assessments and the graduation requirements still to complete.

These are the pathways recorded for each included campus. Online provision appears separately. A senior qualification does not establish provision in younger years.

The 2026 announcement identifies Diploma study in the final two Middle & Senior years; it does not identify MYP. St Catherine’s separately publishes MYP for ages 11–16. Compare the actual middle-years programme and receiving class rather than extend BDS's senior authorisation to a different IB phase.

Its international-programmes page integrates the two-year Diploma with official secondary Years 4–5. Send the pupil's completed courses and ask how the proposed transfer fits that sequence. Do not replace those school-specific years with an assumed international Grade 11–12 mapping.
