The selected Luxembourg City schools present different programme and admission decisions at their named sites. International School of Luxembourg combines primary IB learning with several senior pathways while still describing MYP candidacy. St George's International School Luxembourg follows an English curriculum with examination and vocational qualifications. Compare the receiving phase, award and language support before assuming every international-school route is equivalent.
This guide accompanies 2 included profiles. It is a selected collection; confirm places and current charges with each school.
Checked 15 October 2026. ISL explicitly retains MYP candidacy; its senior routes are distinct and linked programme packs were unread. The admissions timeline includes an older 2025–2026 subsection. St George's immersive Primary English is announced from 2027, so its programme description is not evidence of current 2026 delivery. Award levels, available subjects, entry timing and support require cohort-specific confirmation.
International School of Luxembourg (ISL) identifies 36 Boulevard Pierre Dupong. Its IB page describes PYP and Diploma, but explicitly calls its MYP a candidate programme pursuing authorisation, with no guarantee of approval. Ask about the actual middle-year curriculum and assessment for the receiving class. An existing primary or senior IB programme does not establish an authorised middle programme or a completed authorised continuum.
St George's International School Luxembourg gives 11 rue des Peupliers and describes the National Curriculum for England. Its admissions page separates Early Years, Primary Years 1–6 and Secondary Years 7–13; the secondary page identifies Key Stage 3 in Years 7–9 before the later examination stages. Compare the child's finished work and language development against the proposed class rather than map a foreign grade directly from the school's broad age range.

ISL describes three senior pathways: full IB Diploma, Global Impact Diploma and individual Grade 11–12 courses. Each leads to an ISL school diploma, but the academic package differs. The Global Impact route includes practical opportunities such as internships alongside academic study; the individual-course route describes certificates for successfully completed subjects. Ask for the intended cohort's requirements and assessment plan. Global Impact should not be relabelled as IB Career-related Programme.
St George's describes IGCSE, A-level and BTEC qualifications, with BTEC also appearing in its Key Stage 4 discussion. Request the actual award title, level, size, subjects and assessment pattern instead of assuming every vocational option is a senior A-level equivalent. At ISL, establish whether the plan is full Diploma or selected courses plus the school diploma. Compare these documents with the next institution's requirements; school-level recognition language is not an individual university admission or credit guarantee.

ISL's admission process requires a complete online file before interview and assessment. Its published requirements distinguish Grades 6–10 from Grade 11, which adds English essay and mathematics testing; Grade 12 applicants are directed to the office. Remote meetings and testing may be possible. Its next-year decision subsection still refers to children turning three in 2025–2026, so obtain current timing directly rather than apply that older passage to a new intake.
St George's describes a two-day primary class visit and secondary literacy, numeracy and language assessment with an informal interview. Its current admissions page offers EAL support but dates the new immersive Primary English programme from 2027. The dedicated programme page describes an intensive language pathway with other primary subjects and different French groupings; that forward-looking description does not make it an available 2026 class. Discuss current support, intended start year, complete reports and an itemised quotation before treating a taster or application as acceptance.

These are the pathways recorded for each included campus. Online provision appears separately. A senior qualification does not establish provision in younger years.

The school presents Global Impact separately from full IB Diploma and individual IB courses. Its overview describes practical experiences alongside academics and an ISL school diploma. Confirm the precise course and award documentation; this source does not identify Global Impact as authorised IB CP or establish automatic equivalence for a destination institution.

Its admission page dates introduction from 2027. The dedicated page describes the planned curriculum and French grouping, while current EAL support is discussed separately. Ask which service applies to the proposed start year and class. Published onward pathways do not guarantee transfer to a European or local school, a language result or an available place.
