Mexico City's selected The American School Foundation (ASF) and Westhill Santa Fe profiles require a campus-specific IB comparison. ASF combines American school requirements with PYP and an optional senior Diploma; Westhill's Santa Fe IB record identifies PYP, MYP and Diploma. English entry expectations, prior national study and the actual receiving year matter alongside the programme names.
This guide accompanies 2 included profiles. It is a selected collection; confirm places and current charges with each school.
Westhill's school-owned website refresh failed; its current class boundaries, entry process and support remain questions. The Santa Fe IB record was directly read, without extending it to other campuses.
ASF's IB record gives Bondojito 215, Colonia Las Américas, Álvaro Obregón. Westhill's record gives Domingo García Ramos 56, Prados de la Montaña, Santa Fe Cuajimalpa, for its three programme coordinators. Use those full addresses and the school's visit instructions when comparing daily arrangements. A broad Mexico City label does not identify an entrance, transport route or appropriate receiving division.
The Westhill record concerns the named Santa Fe address. It should not determine classes or authorisations at another Westhill site. Request the offered local grade, primary or secondary entrance and any movement between divisions. At ASF, similarly identify the receiving school section rather than assume a senior IB option describes how every younger classroom is organised.

ASF says all pupils follow its American programme's requirements for the US high-school diploma, with optional Upper School IB, AP and Mexican coursework. Its programme page identifies Early Years PYP contacts for K1–K3, PYP in Grades 1–5 and an optional two-year Diploma in Grades 11–12. Its middle years should therefore be discussed separately, rather than inferred to be MYP from the younger and senior IB phases.
Westhill's IB record separately identifies PYP, MYP and Diploma at Santa Fe, but does not establish every local teaching-year boundary or admission cutoff. Ask its coordinator for the actual receiving phase and subject combination. For ASF's Mexican study, the programme page distinguishes SEP revalidation across K–12 from UNAM revalidation in Grades 10–12; obtain the child's individual validation and graduation plan.

ASF's FAQ says English is not required for K1 or K2, while K3 and older applicants are assessed and Grades 1 upward need strong English. It identifies K1 entrants as turning three before 1 September of the joining school year. These are ASF-specific conditions. Ask admissions to assess the pupil's readiness and support needs rather than apply the same rule to Westhill or every bilingual school.
ASF separates its usual application sequence from rolling admissions for families arriving from abroad. The latter asks Grades 6–12 applicants for recommendations from a principal or counsellor, English teacher and mathematics teacher, with individual interview and testing arrangements. Send current reports and proposed intake timing before assuming availability. Westhill's school-owned website could not be refreshed, so request its current application process, language support and complete fee quotation directly.

These are the pathways recorded for each included campus. Online provision appears separately. A senior qualification does not establish provision in younger years.

ASF's programme page identifies PYP in the early and primary phases and optional Diploma study in Grades 11–12; it does not identify MYP. Westhill Santa Fe's separate IB record does identify MYP. Ask for each school's actual middle-years curriculum and receiving class.

ASF's FAQ says it is not required for K1 or K2. K3 and older applicants undergo English assessment, while Grades 1 upward need strong English. Confirm the child's grade, readiness and application lane with ASF; those school-specific expectations do not establish Westhill's entry policy.
