Compare the named secondary campus and receiving year

ASH identifies its main campus at Rijksstraatweg 200 in Wassenaar, separately from an early-childhood address on Deijlerweg. The selected profile here is its High School. ISH identifies Wijndaelerweg 11 in The Hague and maps MYP to Years 7–11, followed by DP or CP in Years 12–13. Give admissions the actual previous year and intended start date instead of translating a foreign class label by name.

Use those specific sites for visits and daily attendance planning. Ask the receiving division about transport, academic English and support for the child's existing subjects. A school-wide website can describe provision beyond the selected secondary profile; it does not make a younger class, residential place or particular bus stop part of the proposed secondary offer.

Distinguish the school diploma, full IB and career-related award

ASH describes a US High School Diploma with additional AP or IB choices. Its IB pathway spans Grades 11–12 and includes the Diploma core; AP courses are modular, with selected courses possible in Grade 10 and optional AP Capstone. Ask how the proposed courses count toward school graduation and the student's intended university prerequisites. Participation in an advanced course does not by itself complete either diploma.

ISH's CP page names Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Diploma in Business, three Diploma subjects including English and mathematics, and the separate CP core. That differs from taking the full IB Diploma. Request the actual Business award requirements, subject combination, assessment and progression advice for the intended cohort. ISH's senior-entry policy also considers previous learning and whether a complete, suitable subject package can be provided.

Check eligibility and transferred work before committing to a place

ISH publishes specific international-eligibility categories involving nationality, a parent's employment or previous schooling abroad, with supporting evidence. ASH separately says its school entry has no passport or nationality requirements and requires graduation before age twenty. These are the named schools' admission descriptions. Ask each office which documents apply to the family and the proposed programme, alongside placement, support and available space.

ISH requests current and earlier reports and uses secondary placement tests; it publishes separate 2026–27 and 2027–28 birthdate tables. For Year 13, its policy requires completed first-year work and a compatible subject package, with a prior-school coordinator checklist and a first-week joining limit. ASH accepts year-round applications but reviews a complete file before offering enrolment. Request written placement and the current itemised school-year quotation before making attendance arrangements.
