Montréal's selected Collège international Marie-de-France (CIMF) and Collège Stanislas profiles concern French homologated schooling at distinct local addresses. Their admission procedures depend on the receiving stage and previous education system. Start with the actual French class, campus and application year, then discuss language preparation, senior award planning and the child's completed curriculum.
This guide accompanies 2 included profiles. It is a selected collection; confirm places and current charges with each school.
Stanislas's maternelle page mixes named 2026–27 and 2027–28 admissions with an older autumn 2025 event paragraph. Confirm the applicable intake, visit date and individual class decision.
AEFE lists CIMF at 4635 chemin Queen Mary and Stanislas at 780 boulevard Dollard. Stanislas's own Montréal page places its campus in Outremont and distinguishes it from the separate Québec campus. Use the Montréal admissions route and the child's division when arranging a visit; information about another campus should not determine a place or attendance arrangement in this collection.
Both AEFE records list homologated French grades from Moyenne section and Grande section through CP–CM2, collège and Terminale. That provides a specific teaching-stage map rather than a generic 'French school' label. Ask the receiving school to identify the proposed class against the pupil's completed work. The listed homologation does not on its own establish every other qualification, younger nursery class or personal admission condition.

CIMF's conditions page begins with an online application. It says no admission examination is required for pupils coming from an AEFE school or another school recognised by the French education ministry, or for pupils entering maternelle. Other applicants are asked to take an examination after their form is received. Ask which category applies to the previous institution rather than assume French nationality or spoken French supplies the exemption.
Stanislas's collège page requires academic placement testing, particularly French and mathematics, for pupils from systems other than the French system. For entry to sixième, it says the previous primary cycle must be completed, explicitly distinguishing French CM2 and Québec sixth year. It also limits entry to quatrième or troisième for pupils from another system without a required second modern language beyond French or English. Send the actual language history for an individual review.

Stanislas's Montréal application pages separately label 2026–27 in-year enquiries, subject to space, and 2027–28 applications opened in September 2026. Its maternelle page says no admission test is required and gives birthdate conditions specifically for the 2027–28 Moyenne and Grande section intake. That page also retains an autumn 2025 event paragraph. Use the current named-year admissions information and confirm the visit date directly.
Stanislas's Montréal campus page describes preparation for the French baccalauréat. For either selected school, ask how previous courses fit the proposed lycée class, which senior subjects can actually be taken and what completed award is intended. Obtain a current itemised fee contract and discuss support before planning a later transfer. Admission, a class mapping and eventual completion of a national award are separate decisions.

These are the pathways recorded for each included campus. Online provision appears separately. A senior qualification does not establish provision in younger years.

No. CIMF publishes exemptions for entry to maternelle and pupils from AEFE or French ministry-recognised schools; other applicants take an examination. Admissions should confirm the previous school's status and receiving class. The exemption does not by itself establish available space or an accepted application.
Its collège policy requires completion of the previous primary cycle, naming French CM2 or Québec sixth year, and sets placement-testing conditions for other education systems. Send school reports and language history and request the actual receiving-class decision rather than rely on a rough age equivalence.
